Wax Seals a short history
The first time I got interested in Wax seals was when a friend and I went to see a display at the Brisbane Museum. I was amazed at the size and range of the seals.
From Peasants to Royals everyone had a family seal of some sort. The sizes and materials varied. from tiny little seals no larger than a small finger nail,to Royal seals that need atleast two people to pick them up and would've needed at least a bucket of sealing wax. Seals have been around since the 16th century.
It's always great to see a resurgence of long ago popular tools or crafts come back to these days of internet influencers and throw away products.
Great price and good quality coffee mugs. I liked the way you can choose your own saying. Totally recommend 😀
